UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) is the most common symptom of renal TB. In UTI you may experience some burning during urination. Some drops of blood may also come along with your urine. You may experience fever on & off. Suddenly if you realize if unexpected weight is lost and there is a big difference in weight then it has a great probability of having renal TB.
Renal Tuberculosis Tests
Generally, urine culture is performed and if there is the presence of PUS CELLS in your urine then your physician refers you for AFB Urine. CT/MRI scan is also a good method to investigate it.
Renal Tuberculosis Medician
AKT-4 kit with Inj. Streptomycin is given for initial 3 months to kill most of the TB bacteria. After that Tab. Macox Plus is given for the rest of the time. Patient also need to take a sufficient amount of fluids in a day during the treatment.
